1 e4 e5 2 f4 ef 3 Nf3 g5! (In my opinion this is the best answer to the King's Gambit) 4 d4 (much more usual is 4.h4) 4...d6 5 Bd3?! (An original idea but not a very good one) 5....Bg7? (In hindsight I should have played 5...g4! which gives white something to cry about) 6 c3 h6 7 0-0 Nc6 8 Kh1 (Necessary if white wants to play his idea of a pawn storm on the queen side) 8...Nf6 (8...Nge7 looks better as the bishop is not blocked) 9 Qc2 Bg4 10 b4 a6 11 a4 0-0 12 Ba3! (I prefer white here because black cannot exploit his space advantage on the kingside whereas white can on the queenside) 12..Bf3 (Not many options in this dreadful position but black needs to get something going or a positional onslaught will take place) 13 Rf3 (After the game Clarke and I thought 13 gf was better but after 13...Re8 or 13...Ne7 Black has the upper hand due to the ...d5 thrust coming) 13...Ng4 14. b5 ab 15 ab Ne7 16 Nd2?! (This move allows a safe 16...Ne3 whereas 16 Qb3 is better as 16...Ne3 is answered with 17.g3 ) 16...Ne3 17 Qb3 c5 (This is good along with 17...Kh8 with the idea of ...f5 but intuition or a superior being led me to play this move) 18 Re3? fe 19 Nf3 g4! (Something big is about to go down) 20 Nh4 Qa5! (I see something great) 21 Bb2 Qa1!! (YESS! It is clear to me now) 22 Ba1 Ra1 23 Bb1 e2!  0-1 (Notes by Tapia)
