Msg 456:
An incident took place last Wednesday, 12-28-11, which caused a major disturbance. It had to do with a "spectator speaking to a player while his game was in progress?" (the players were using his set, and he needed to leave) According to the strictest interpretation of the USCF Rules, this is forbidden. (...though, most CCC members would have simply stopped the clock and found another set to use without incident!?) In the future, please report your concerns or complaints first to the Tournament Director who will decide upon the remedy. Loud disturbances are forbidden at the Charlotte Chess Club. Mutual respect and a friendly attitude will assure all who participate an enjoyable evening of socializing, great food and one tournament game of chess. See you next Wednesday. LF
