Is an Awesome Game! By Jason "1st Amendment" Mytrysak Leland: I would like to thank the following people at the CCC. Expert Patrick McCartney, Expert NM Shawn Pealer, soon to be Expert Daryl Gordon, Ervon Nichols, Mike Trott, NM Pat Sciacca and NM Leland Fuerstman. In the 6 months that I've been a playing chess and a member at the CCC, each one of you gentleman have helped me grow as a chess player. Thank you guys for staying late and letting me pick your brain and showing me the holes and flaws in my games; thank you for letting me observe and learn while you guys are going over a your own games and allowing me to ask questions and showing me why certain moves are right or wrong and thank you for letting me watch while you are teaching other players!!! I am a highly competitive person who hates to lose. But I have to say, some of my losses have shown me how great this game is!!! Chess is an awesome game! Yet it is so much better with such a great group of guys who are willing to sacrifice some of their time to teach somebody (me, and others like me) who may not be a highly rated player!!! I wish I had started playing chess earlier and joined this club sooner!!! Gentleman, I cannot thank you guys enough for the knowledge you have bestowed upon me.
