121 - Hi Leland, Would it be possible to start the Wendy's tournament rounds promptly at 7:30?  With the start of a new school year (and end of summer vacation) next week, I have to get to bed earlier.  I love playing at Wendy's but am afraid I may not be able to do so again until the next holiday or vacation.  I know a lot of people feel the same way, especially students (more especially their parents) and people who have to work. Ken Ivens *************************************************** Ken: Your concerns are legitimate. The policy of the CCC has always been basically what you outlined above. In the Fall, we generally revert to the earlier starting time. Beginning September 21, our starting time will be 7:30 sharp. Until then, I will make a special effort to begin the round no later than 8:00pm. Please bear in mind that the liberal policy of the CCC encourages all players to play even when they are late. However, late players take their chances on a lopsided pairing and possibly even a faster time control. As for now, I will do my best to start the round promptly at 8:00pm real time! LF
