Fellow chessplayers: There seems to be some confusion about the "food policy" at the Seafarer. It is NOT mandatory for anyone to purchase food in order to participate. You may arrive at 7:29pm and play the round without spending one cent otherwise! Or, you may choose to order a wonderful meal before or during the round and enjoy beverages throughout the evening. (Please do not bring food or drink in from another source). If you are running late and wish to be paired, simply call 704-778-3211 and I will have an opponent waiting for you. Remember, we have our own "private room" in the back of the building. Everyone is welcome, including kids! See you on Wednesday! LF
