New USCF Title System Neglects Old Timers!? The USCF has recently implemented a "new" (since this is not their first attempt) "Title System" which describes "Milestones" based on the number of wins in each category as well as "Titles." The problem is, their research and statistics only go back to December of 1991? There are many "older" players in the USCF who achieved titles before that date. However, their achievements were not listed in their lifetime overall record? Therefore, after many expected complaints and protests from the "older" dudes, the USCF has decided to remedy the situation by including a statement in their records which describes the previous achievement and the date. For example, now, if you access the USCF database, when you click on Leland Fuerstman 10209137, you can scroll down and observe their verified proclamation. Currently, corrections will only be made upon a player's request. - LF
