Carolina chess players are saddened to hear of the
loss of FM Ron Simpson,
53. Originally
from New York, Ron was more than just a strong
Master chess player... he was a special gentleman
who freely shared his time with anyone who sought
his knowledge and advice. He specifically requested
that chess sets be available at his viewing! A model
husband and father, our prayers are with his family.
He will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.
