One more comment or question and I won't bother you any more. Being new at this, I checked the structure of the NCCA. Exactly what was
Vice President of Scholastics Brad Dill's responsibility at that tournament? Since he was not listed as a TD, it seems to me that he could have at least assisted to provide results, images, games, personal information like age and home town, a thumbnail sketch of the winners, comments about the $1,500 scholarship (like they could definitely make that bigger) and other side stories from the largest and most expensive scholastic chess tournament in North Carolina history! Looks like the President had plenty of time to remind him and if he wasn't able or capable of accepting the task, he probably should have appointed a qualified volunteer or even paid someone to do it! If he's not going to do anything, maybe he should step down. The President's article was late and incomplete. Also, are they going to post any accounting from that tournament?  - I think I'll hold off from paying for membership to the NCCA for right now. Sorry if I ruffled any feathers.
