CCC Adds 2 More Masters to Roster! NM Justin Daniel
& NM Harold Mouzon have both unofficially acheived
the Title of National Master with updated ratings of 2204.

Wendy's
XXXVII.
In
the Top Section upsets abound as leader NM Frankie "Blitz"
Newton (2236) was
upset by returnee from the U.S. Open Patrick "Flanker"
McCartney (1949) (See Game 0241) while
newly promoted CCC Favorite Son Daniel "Johnny" Tapia (2091)
outplayed NM John "Night Train" Lane (2091). In addition, because of an
unobserved computer glitch, Slobodan "the Mad Serb" Sinanovic
(1720) again upset NM Leland "El-Presidente" Fuerstman (2021) while Jon
"Cigars" Pietras
(1798) split the point with NM Daniel "Deep"
Liu
(2000). In the
Middle
Section, leader Frank "Moo" Mu (1628) shared the point
with Daryl "Flash" Gordon (1619) to
lead with 3.5-.5. Also, in the Middle Section,

"TechDude" Eerenberg (1493) sold short vs. "CEO" Mike Isner (1572),
Viktor
"the Mad Ukrainian" Ozherelyev (1485) revolted against Doug "Sky"

in Smokehouse XXIX. In the Top Section, Expert
and soon to be Master Harold "Wyn" Mouzon (2195)
of Charlotte dispatched of Keith Eubanks (2036) of Columbia, SC, NM Leland
Fuerstman (2009) and Daniel Tapia (2036) to score a perfect 3-0
and pocket $100.
Equal 2nd-4th with 2-1
were NM Joseph Jurjevich (2145), Daniel Tapia (2036) and
Chris
Mabe (1889) each taking home $17.
The Middle Section was controlled by Paul Calloway
(1645) of Horse Shoe, NC and "Team Columbia" stars James MacDougall
(1560) and Kermon
Lane (1458) each scoring 2.5-.5
and winning $50.
In the Lower Section, Lee Nevitt (947) and Jonathan
Munnell (Unr) each scored 2.5-.5
and pocketed $60.
