Burghart, Tapia Share Top Honors in Smokehouse XVIII
Charlotte, NC 8-18-01: Eighteen weekend warriors participated in Smokehouse XVIII. In the Top Section, Dr. Armin "Hammer" Burghart (1987) was nicked for a Draw in Rd:1 by Jerome "Bouncer" DeBell (1609) before performing procedures on NM Leland "Grand Potentate" Fuerstman (2042) and Patrick "Flanker" McCartney (2001) respectively to score 2.5-.5 and pocket $75. Meanwhile, Daniel "Johnny Tapia (1956) clicked off wins against Marnzell Hand (1606) and Jamie "Night-Stalker" McGavran (1867) before issuing a Draw to NM Daniel "Schlecter" Liu (2011) to equal the top score of 2.5-.5 and take home $75.
