In the Cruiserweight Division, Clarke "Kent" Brosi's (1748) victory over Doug "Sky" Millsaps (1637) allowed him to survive as one of the 4 players left in the tournament with 3-0. In the Middle Section, also staying perfect with the Black pieces, "CEO" Mike Isner (1515) upset "Iron" Mike Eberhardinger (1609). Meanwhile, Slobodan "the Mad Serb" Sinanovic (1617) handled Daryl "Flash" Gordon (1660), David "Richman" Richards (1615) beat down Brandon "Starr" Brown (1511) and Michael "You Know You Make Me Wanna" Shoup (1471) defeated Danesh "Shah" Dadgar (1568).
