94
Charlotte, NC 2-13-08: A rather light turnout of only 12 of the most dedicated
competitors braved the inclement weather and docked their vessels at
this mental jousting arena more
commonly known as Wendy's in order to participate in Rd:2 of Wendy's 94. In the Top Section, the CCC's #2 player, the
pride of Crouse, NC, 2007 CCC Player
of the Year NM Frankie "Juice" Newton (2293) found himself in his usual
time trouble but this time got checkmated by the CCC's #4 player,
SCCA President Expert Keith
"Chuckie" Eubanks (2068) (See Game 0726)
who
leads with 2-0.
Meanwhile, Expert Patrick
"Fabio" McCartney (2025) split
the point with Michael

Frazier (1130) to lead with 2-0. Other Lower Section winners were: Copeland Blackwell and Ethan Hollandsworth. All
